Reality Dreams

What exactly is n a dream? What are they telling me?
Ghost, sadness, hospitals and running away are some of the common themes in these visions.
To see a ghost represents a piece of you that is missing, but in my case this ghost was once a person.
My dreams are not just fictional with hidden clues to guide me using puns.
These visions invade my waking life, as they manage to become reality.
One that stands out is the dream of a beloved pet dying unexpectidly. He was a healthy young dog, and should not have reason to die. I found him laying there in the snow, and awoke in horror looking for him. He was fine.
Months later, my brother discovered the dog lying in the snow dead, in the same place I had envisioned him to be.

Resting thy head,
Upon the pillow spread,
Beneath the warm sheets,
Waiting for Mr. Sandman to greet,
I wait and wait, drifting away,
And Mr. Sandman gets away.
Some night I am going to win,
Then Mr. Sandman it'll be I that grins.
