Where am I? This is home to Elvis and many others! It is full of culture, and yes HOME TO THE BLUES.
Justin Timberlake calls this place home, though Millington not too far from here is where his childhood home lies.
Though she has never been here, she is going to imagine what it is like. Studying Beale Street's history, she has come to understand why blues were so promanant to early Memphis settlers.
With discrimination between Africian Americans and Irish immagrants over the death of a young boy put this Street in Mayhem. Fires broke out from enraged individuals, and homes were distroyed, leaving a frightful sight.
Illness also plagued here leaving it a ghost town. The dead are said to still linger, as their bodies were left unattend too, and Memphis basicly shut down.
In 1983 this street began to be rebuiltf. Today it is sought out for Elvis' legacy and its many tourist attractions.
Walking down the streets you'd probably see modest amonuts of visitors, and sense the sorrows and triampths in the air.
Inside this famous studio you'll be inspired and taken back to a time when music was not what it is today. The legendary men that line the walls posibly speak to your soul, and maybe if you listen closely you'll hear their spirits reminise of yesteryear, when the studios rocked the music scence.
The Memphis lights are shining bright for what is up ahead. Put on those blue suade shoes, because yo're in Memphis.
