Stronger Than Yesterday

I listen to your words, and find meaning as if you were telling me a complex formula to save all humanity. Like a puzzle the pieces slide into place, and life becomes a little clearer for me.
I'm stronger than yesterday, when I feel your comforting hands around my trembling form. I am whole and the edges are smooth after being jagged for too long. My mind cannot control what my heart tells me is destinty.
A mind is not something to waste but without a heart it is as helpful as a computer or toaster oven.
My eyes are bleary, laying my head upon your chest, closing my eyes remembering I'm stronger than yesterday.
